Way Description Proportions
Fresh tomatoes They give a very rich taste and aroma. If possible, it is always better to use tomatoes rather than paste. But you also need to tinker with them longer – peel them, chop them, boil down the excess juice. 1:1 (average tomato equals 1 tbsp paste)
Canned tomatoes You need to remove the skin, simmer for 10-15 minutes, and then drain the liquid. The remaining pulp is an excellent substitute for pasta. Taste varies slightly, but the characteristic flavor suits pizza very well. 1:2
Tomato sauce Can be used for pizza “Krasnodar” sauce and its analogues produced by different brands. It works with all recipes, but you don’t need to add water. 1:3 (instead of 1 tbsp pasta, add 3 tbsp sauce)
Tomato passata This product is essentially diluted tomato paste. Therefore, it can be added to pizza without diluting it with water. 1:3
