  • Vegetable oil – 2-3 tbsp. l. 
  • Mustard – 1 tsp.
  • Soy sauce – 2 tbsp. l.
  • Water 
  • Green  
  • Salt, spices to taste

How to make meat sauce:

  1. The first step is to cut the meat into strips and marinate it a little.
  2. To do this, add mustard, soy sauce, a spoonful of oil, spices and mix everything thoroughly until the marinade is absorbed.
  3. At this time, cut the onion into half rings and mushrooms into slices, chop the greens.
  4. Now add flour to the meat and stir, then fry the meat until crusty in a hot frying pan in oil until crusty.
  5. Then reduce the heat and add the onion, stir-fry for 10 minutes, then do the same with the mushrooms.
  6. It’s time to add sour cream, stir and if the sauce is too thick, add water.
  7. Add salt and simmer until the meat is cooked over low heat, stirring occasionally, sprinkle with herbs before serving.

We recommend mixing the meat with flour rather than adding flour at the end. This way the meat juices will remain in the meat more and the crust will be tastier.

  • Carrots – 1 pc.
  • Garlic – 2 cloves
  • Tomato – 1 pc.
  • Bay leaf – 1 pc.
  • Tomato paste – 1 tbsp. l.
  • Vegetable oil – 2 tbsp. l.
  • Salt, pepper to taste

How to make the sauce:

  1. First of all, chop the onion and tomato as you like, and grate the carrots on a coarse grater.
  2. Then pour oil into the frying pan and begin to sauté the onion until transparent.
  3. Then add the carrots and fry, stirring until the carrots appear brown, but do not let them burn.
  4. It’s time to throw in the tomato and squeeze the garlic through a press, and also add the bay leaf.
  5. After simmering for five minutes, add tomato paste and stir the sauce, simmer over medium heat for another five minutes.
  6. If the sauce is too thick, add a little water, then salt and pepper.
  7. A simple buckwheat sauce made from vegetables and tomato paste is ready!

You can add bell pepper, celery, green peas or green beans to the sauce. In the summer season, feel free to add zucchini and eggplant, and of course, greens don’t hurt.

As we already wrote, this is a lean sauce for buckwheat. And if you remove the oil from it and sauté the vegetables in water, it will also become a sauce. Suitable as food for weight loss.

If you want the simplest sauce recipe, just fry the onions with tomato paste. Add salt, pepper and you’re done, it will also be very tasty. Sometimes sauces with tomatoes are a little sour, in which case add a little sugar.

Sauce for buckwheat with chicken is already a complete hearty side dish. You can also make the sauce with chicken meat, it will only be more tender. This sauce is based on sauce RU and Bechamel.

We will need:

  • Tuber fillet – 200 g.
  • Cream – 1 glass
  • Butter – 1 tbsp. l.
  • Muka – 1 h. l.
  • Garlic – 1 clove
  • Salt, pepper to taste

How to prepare the sauce:

  1. First, melt the butter and fry the flour in it until a pleasant smell of nuts appears.
  2. Crush the garlic with a knife and add to the butter and flour.
  3. Now let’s start pouring in the cream little by little and preferably using a whisk, start stirring until the flour dissolves.
  4. The sauce should thicken and bubble slightly, do not let it boil too much.
  5. It’s time to add the pre-cut (not large pieces) fillet to the sauce.
  6. Wait for the sauce to boil again and simmer for another five minutes, then turn it off and let it sit for five minutes.
  7. Add some salt and pepper and the sauce is ready!

This is an excellent gravy for rice, for cereals, for pasta, but it is also good as an independent dish. Cream can be replaced with sour cream or milk.

Using the same principle, you can prepare gravy with chicken and tomato paste. In this case, you won’t need flour, but you will need to dilute the paste with water.

Mushroom sauce for buckwheat

Mushroom champignon sauce for buckwheat

Mushrooms have always given a dish a special flavor, and they go just great with buckwheat. We recommend using royal champignons, they have a stronger aroma. We will need:

  • Champignons – 200 gr.
  • Onions – 1 pc.
  • Sour cream – 3 tbsp. l.
  • Vegetable oil – 2 tbsp. l.
  • Garlic – 1 clove
  • Salt, pepper to taste


  1. Chop the onion into half rings and start frying in oil over medium heat until transparent.
  2. As soon as the onion has become the desired color, add the mushrooms cut into slices and turn up the heat.
  3. When the mushrooms have acquired a golden brown color, add sour cream and reduce the heat, remember to stir.
  4. Add salt, pepper and chopped garlic, cover with a lid and simmer for a couple of minutes.
  5. The sauce with mushrooms and sour cream for buckwheat is ready!

If you don’t want a strong garlic smell, add it along with the mushrooms, not at the end. You can also add chicken fillet and the sauce will be a wonderful side dish.

You can also add a tablespoon of flour at the stage of frying the onions, and at the end, beat the sauce with a blender. And get an excellent deep sauce, suitable  for French fries or country stylepotatoes

  • Sausages – 9 pcs.
  • Onions – 1 pc.
  • Tomato paste – 2 tbsp. l.
  • Garlic – 3 cloves
  • Pickled cucumbers – 2 pcs. 
  • Flour – 2 tbsp. l.

  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Water – 3 glasses
  • Salt, sugar, pepper – to taste

How to make gravy:

  1. Chop the onion into small cubes and fry in a frying pan with some oil.
  2. At this time, cut the sausages into rings, if you have sausage, then into cubes and add to the onion.
  3. Dilute the tomato paste in a glass of water and pour it over the sausages, grate the garlic there.
  4. Cut the cucumbers into cubes and simmer in the sauce.
  5. Dissolve the flour with two glasses of water and pour into the pan.
  6. Add laurel, pepper, sugar and salt, wait until it boils and the sausage gravy is ready!
