  • if necessary – Provencal herbs, dill and parsley.

  3. tomatoes are cut, as convenient, into small pieces and placed in a container prepared in advance;
  4. put on fire, cook at medium temperature without adding water for about 20 minutes;
  5. the mixture is punched using a blender or passed through a sieve;
  6. tomato paste is placed on the stove, boils, then evaporated at a lower temperature until desolate;
  7. add the remaining ingredients and cook for another ten minutes.

When the ketchup has cooled completely, you can strain it and serve.

Not only classic ketchup can please your household. Another good homemade ketchup recipe is Chinese. Some people mistakenly believe that in the Celestial Empire they only love rice, but this is not at all true.

The Chinese also love ketchup very much, and the presented recipe contains exclusively natural ingredients, which are completely simple and familiar. You can serve ketchup immediately or prepare it for the winter.

Composition:

  • one and a half kilograms of cream tomatoes;
  • five to six cloves of garlic;
  • five teaspoons of salt and three hundred and fifty grams of sugar;
  • one hundred twenty milliliters of vinegar;
  • four grams of cloves;
  • thirty grams of cinnamon;
  • forty grams of mustard.

How to make ketchup:

  1. We wash and steam the tomatoes to make it easier to remove the skin, then grind them through a sieve.
  2. Pour the pureed tomatoes into an enamel cup or saucepan, add all the spices and cook for half an hour.
  3. After this, leave to cool, add mustard, stir. Now you can make preparations or serve immediately.
