Classic plum sauce recipe
Ingredients:
- plums – 1 kg;
- salt and sugar 1.5 tsp each;
- suneli hops – 1 tsp;
- dry basil – 1 tsp;
- mint leaves about 11 pcs.;
- cilantro;
- garlic – 10 g;
- pepper;
- onion piece;
- olive oil – 2 tbsp. l..
How to cook
We certainly select ripe fruits; these can be fruits of various varieties, for example, July plum or early-fruiting plum. We wash and remove garbage. Place the fruits in a saucepan and fill with water so that it can cover all the plums.
Send to cook over low heat for approximately 15 minutes. Then put the plum in a sieve. Leave for about 5 minutes.
Then, transfer the mixture into a container and beat with a blender until we get a homogeneous mixture.
We put salt and sugar in it. Mix and set to cook again. Until it boils, lower the heat and cook for about 10 minutes. Chop the onion.
Add olive oil to a warm frying pan and add onion pieces. Fry until golden brown.
A couple of cloves of garlic should be passed through a press and mixed with onions, which we fry in advance. Cook again for about 5 minutes.
Then wash and dry fresh mint and cilantro. Finely chop the greens.
Add spices and herbs. Mix, bring to a boil again and cook for approximately 7 minutes.
Chinese Spicy Plum Sauce with Ginger and Garlic
- Plum – 11 pcs
- Garlic – 4 teeth.
- Onion — 0.25 sticks.
- Ginger – 1 tbsp. l.
- Soy sauce – 2 tbsp. l.
- Chili pepper – 0.5 tsp.
Recipe
Cut the plums in half and remove the pits. And the halves, in turn, are cut into 6 parts. We put ordinary onions with garlic and ginger.
Mix all the ingredients.
Cook for about 20 minutes over low heat, stirring occasionally.
Grind with a blender, dilute with water if necessary. This is Chinese plum sauce.
Plum sauce without cooking
How to make plum sauce without cooking? It is done very quickly, you just need a blender and ordinary ingredients.
Ingredients:
- Plums – 1.5 kg;
- Pepper – 10 g;
- Garlic – 20 g;
- Greenery;
- Vegetable oil – 50 ml;
- Sugar – 3 tablespoons;
Step-by-step recipe on how to prepare:
Prepare plum puree.
Peel the pepper from the stalk.
Peel the garlic.
Grind the garlic and herbs in a meat grinder with hot peppers.
Put this mixture in a bowl with the plum mass.
Then add sugar with spices and salt. Stir.
Leave the aromatic mixture to stand on the table for about 30 minutes. And then mix thoroughly again.
You can use this sauce as a gravy.
