Marinara hot sauce with cayenne pepper


• canned tomatoes (400 g);
• cane sugar (10 g);
• ground black pepper (2 g);• ground cayenne pepper (3 d).• refined vegetable oil (35 ml);• salt (to taste);• small clove of garlic (1 pc.) ;• onions (160 g);
• boiling water (60 ml);

Cooking process:

  1. Cut the tomatoes in their own juice into several parts, place them in a deep bowl and beat with a blender, then peel the garlic clove and onion, chop these vegetables.
  2. Pour oil into a thick-bottomed saucepan and heat it over moderate heat, add chopped vegetables, salt them to taste, fry with constant stirring until light golden brown.
  3. Add spices and sugar, pour in tomato puree and boiling water, stir the sauce and cook it over low heat until thickened, about 30-35 minutes.
  4. Pour the flavorful sauce into a serving bowl, garnish with fresh basil or parsley leaves, and serve with chicken skewers, meat pizza, or some cheese appetizers.
