We will need:
- Milk – 500 ml
- Flour – 2 tbsp. l.
- Butter – 2 tbsp. l.
- Sugar – 1 tbsp. l.
- Vanilla powder – 1/3 tsp.
How to make milk sauce for casserole:
The longer you fry the flour, the more interesting the smell and taste of the sauce will be. But if you fry it too much, the sauce will be darker. It is also possible to prepare PP milk sauce.
To do this, you need to replace cow’s milk with coconut or any vegetable milk. And regular flour for rice or whole grain, although flour is a different story. And of course, we replace the sugar with sweetener or Jerusalem artichoke juice.
This sweet milk sauce is served with cottage cheese casseroles, both hot and cold. By the way, when cold it will be thicker; the thickness can be adjusted by the amount of milk.
