“Siberian” is considered to be classic. sauce, but as for me, it’s a traditional sauce for manti with vinegar. Previously, it was served in all canteens of the USSR.

  • boiled water – 100 ml;
  • vinegar 9% – 1 tbsp. l.

Mix water and vinegar and you’re done!

Of course, we understand that this is not a sauce and therefore we suggest diversifying it. Although try to do it this way and you will understand that it is not just water and vinegar.

To prepare a more interesting classic sauce for manti, but to make the recipe more interesting, take simple ingredients. Grated garlic or horseradish root, ground black pepper, homemade mustard. You can also mix vinegar with horseradish.

We do not suggest combining them all at once, but adding one at a time. And you will find your favorite composition. To be honest, garlic is my favorite.

And don’t forget to add salt to the sauce!

Sour cream

Sour cream and manti are inseparable friends! But if you want to update your usual taste, then here is our sauce with sour cream.


  • sour cream – 2 tbsp. L.;
  • garlic – 1 clove;
  • dill – 3 sprigs;
  • salt, pepper to taste.

How to cook:

  1. Grate the garlic or press it through a press (you can make garlic puree), so it will disperse better into the sauce.
  2. Chop the dill into smaller pieces and mix with sour cream and garlic.
  3. Salt, pepper and white sour cream sauce is ready!

For variety, you can mix sour cream with mayonnaise or add tomato paste. Choose the fat content of sour cream to suit you. By the way, try it as a sauce for country-style potatoes, we highly recommend it!


This red sauce for manti can be prepared with either tomato paste or tomatoes. First, let’s start with a more complex tomato recipe.

Tomato sauce


  • ripe tomatoes – 2 pcs.;
  • garlic – 1 clove;
  • fresh basil – 1 sprig;
  • balsamic vinegar – 1 tbsp. l.;
  • vegetable oil – 2 tbsp. l.;
  • salt, sugar to taste.

Step by step recipe:

  1. Pour boiling water over the tomatoes and remove the skins.
  2. Grind the garlic in any way, chop the basil leaves.
  3. Fry the tomatoes in oil in a frying pan or saucepan.
  4. Add garlic and vinegar to them, stir and after a minute add basil.
  5. Add salt and a pinch of sugar for balance, the sauce is ready!

Of course, you need to let it cool and only then use it as deep sauce and dip manti in it. But it’s more correct, of course, to eat manti with your hands and, after drinking the juice from them, put the sauce inside.

Tomato paste sauce

This recipe can be used both  for barbecue, and as a sauce for French fries .


  • tomato paste – 2 tbsp. L.;
  • water – 50 ml.;
  • garlic – 1 clove;
  • fresh basil – 1 sprig;
  • balsamic vinegar – 1 tbsp. l.;
  • vegetable oil – 1 tbsp. l.;
  • salt, sugar to taste.

Cooking process:

  1. Start by frying the tomato paste with oil to remove the metallic taste.
  2. Then grate the garlic and mix with chopped basil into a paste, add balsamic vinegar and water, mix.
  3. Add a pinch of sugar, add salt, let cool and you’re done!

If you use Krasnodar sauce instead of tomato paste , then you do not need to heat it in a frying pan. Just mix all the ingredients and let it brew for 20 minutes.


Uzbek sauce for manti is essentially a fermented milk sauce made from kaymak, kefir, tan or ayran. matsoni and yogurt are also suitable, but in the original you need to take katyk.

The second main component of the sauce is greens. Any of your favorites: dill, cilantro, parsley, basil, or better yet, take a little of everything.

We will need:

  • yogurt – 200 ml.;
  • garlic – 2 cloves;
  • greens – 0.5 bunch;
  • salt, pepper to taste.

How to do:

  1. Finely chop the greens and garlic directly with salt, so they will release more aromas.
  2. Add everything to the katyk, pepper, mix well and the sauce is ready!

As you can see, the Uzbek recipe is not complicated, but very tasty. Kefir sauce will be thicker than ayran sauce, but matsoni has a consistency similar to Greek yogurt.

  • mayonnaise – 2 tbsp. L.;
  • homemade mustard – 1 tsp;
  • dill – 1/3 bunch;
  • lemon juice – 1 tsp;
  • salt, pepper to taste.

How to cook:

  1. Chop the dill along with salt.
  2. Mix it with the rest of the products and let stand for 10 minutes.

You can dilute it with a little sour cream, and also tint it with paprika or turmeric. By the way, if you have made lean manti and you need a sauce for it, then prepare our lenten mayonnaise, which is also vegan.

We will need:

  • tomato paste – 2 tbsp. L.;
  • water – 50 ml;
  • adjika – 1 tsp;
  • cilantro – 0.5 bunches;
  • Utsho-Suneli – 0.5 h. l.;
  • vegetable oil – 1 tsp;
  • salt, pepper to taste.


  1. Utskho-suneli mix with oil and chopped cilantro.
  2. Dilute tomato paste with water and adjika, mix with cilantro.
  3. Add salt and pepper and the sauce is ready!

For this sauce, you can cook adjika yourself according to our recipes. You can also call it satsebeli quickly.

With soy sauce

The recipe is more suitable for Chinese dumplings, but it is also very tasty and piquant with manti.


  • soy sauce – 3 tbsp. l.;
  • water – 1 tbsp. L.;
  • vegetable oil – 1 tbsp. l.;
  • apple cider vinegar – 1 tsp;
  • honey – 1 tsp;
  • chili pepper – 1/3 pod.;
  • garlic – 1 clove.


  1. Squeeze the garlic through a garlic press or grate it, chop the chili into small cubes.
  2. Melt honey and mix with soy sauce, vinegar, water and oil.
  3. Combine all ingredients and you’re done!

If you want a Chinese sauce, add a little ginger juice and a drop of sesame oil. Sauce for manti with pumpkin is perfect.


Making manti sauce from yogurt at home is as easy as shelling pears. This is another finger-licking option for manti with pumpkin!


  • Greek yogurt – 200 ml;
  • garlic – 1 clove;
  • dill – 0.5 bunch;
  • vegetable oil – 1 tbsp. l.;
  • salt, pepper to taste.

How to do:

  1. It is better not to chop the garlic, but to grate it on a fine grater.
  2. Chop the dill into smaller pieces and mix everything with yogurt.
  3. Add oil, pepper and adjust salt.

If you add fresh grated and squeezed cucumber to the sauce and remove the dill, you will get Greek Tzatziki sauce.


We would like to give you a recipe for an unusual creamy mushroom sauce for meat, which is great for manti.

We will need:

  • champignons – 200 gr.;
  • onion – 1 head;
  • garlic – 1 clove
  • sour cream – 2 tbsp. L.;
  • vegetable oil – 2 tbsp. l.;
  • salt, pepper – to taste.

How to cook:

  1. Cut the onion, garlic and mushrooms into small cubes.
  2. Start frying the onion in oil until transparent.
  3. Then add mushrooms and fry for another 5 minutes.
  4. Pour in sour cream, stir and add garlic, simmer for a couple more minutes.
  5. Pepper, salt and serve with manti.

This sauce with mushrooms is best eaten with hot manti. If you want a more homogeneous sauce, puree it with a blender. And try making sauce from wild mushrooms, it is richer in taste and aroma.
