- Salt, pepper to taste
How to make lean tomato sauce:
- Finely chop the onion and begin to fry it in oil until golden brown.
- Then add our tomatoes and chopped garlic with vinegar.
- Simmer for about five minutes, then add sugar and pepper, taste for salt and add more salt if necessary.

Preparing a lean mushroom sauce from champignons, but wild mushrooms will be even tastier and more aromatic. You just need to boil them first. If you want to prepare a recipe for dried forest mushrooms, then soak them in advance for about an hour.
We advise you to take royal champignons, they have a stronger aroma than ordinary ones. But if you prepare Lenten sauce from porcini mushrooms, then it’s just the bomb!

- Champignons – 300 gr.
- Soy milk – 200 ml
- Wheat flour – 1 tbsp. l.

How to make Lenten sauce from mushrooms and soy milk:
- Chop the onions and mushrooms as small as you like, then fry them in vegetable oil until golden brown.

- Simmer for a couple of minutes, stirring, pepper and salt to taste, the sauce is ready!
You can take any plant-based milk, there is now a lot of it to choose from, coconut milk is also suitable. And if you replace wheat flour with whole grain or rice flour, the sauce will also be dietary.
