Creamy garlic sauce

This creamy sauce for shrimp is suitable for squid and all seafood. It is made on the basis of Béchamel sauce.

We will need:

  • Cream (10%) – 200 ml
  • Butter – 50 gr.
  • Garlic – 1-2 cloves
  • Muka – 1-2 h. l.
  • Ground black pepper to taste
  • Salt – a pinch

How to do:

  1. Heat the butter in a thick-bottomed saucepan (this will reduce the likelihood of burning).
  2. Add flour and mix it with butter, stirring constantly.
  3. Pour in the cream in a thin stream, stirring it conveniently with a whisk.
  4. Pepper, salt and add grated garlic (you can squeeze it through a press).
  5. Let cool and serve with boiled shrimp!

Here it is, garlic and creamy shrimp sauce, you can’t imagine anything better! By the way, it’s no worse for langoustines. And it’s as simple as deep sauce with serving  for French fries will come in with a bang!

Add shrimp to it and the spaghetti sauce is ready, you can also mix everything in a frying pan. Serve with grated cheese.

Sour cream garlic sauce

There is another garlic-based sauce, but this time with sour cream and without cooking. It is done very simply and quickly, which is sometimes very important when guests are already on the doorstep.

We will need:

  • Sour cream (40% and above) is better to take homemade – 200 g
  • Garlic – 1-2 cloves
  • Dill – 1/2 bunch
  • Salt – a pinch
  • Ground black pepper to taste
  • Sunflower oil (olive oil is possible) – 1 tsp.

Cooking process:

  1. Peel the garlic and pass through a press or grater, or better yet, use a knife to make garlic paste.
  2. Finely chop the dill.
  3. Place the sour cream in a container and add all the ingredients to it except salt.
  4. Mix everything thoroughly (you can use a blender), add salt to the desired taste.
  5. It’s better to let it brew for a couple of hours, although you can already serve sour cream sauce with shrimp.

Recipe for garlic paste using a knife: Finely chop the garlic, add salt and with the flat side of the knife, pressing with your hand, rub the garlic and salt into the board. After doing this several times, you will get garlic puree without any garlic pieces!
